REPORTS TO: Chief Marketing Officer PURPOSE: Play a pivotal role in executing marketing initiatives and coordinating various events and partnerships to promote the organization's brand and mission. Work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer and other team members to ensure the successful implementation of marketing campaigns, manage partner relationships, and coordinate events such as fundraisers, tournaments, and promotional activities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create and manage partner social calendars, including coordinating email campaigns and analyzing post-email performance.
Coordinate partner activations for Hall of Fame events, liaising with partners to plan participation and ensure timely delivery of event materials.
Manage licensing agreements and website updates, including maintaining vendor information and handling agreements and invoices.
Facilitate hotel partnership agreements, from initial meetings to quarterly rebate tracking and promotion.
Generate sponsor opportunities at the national level by identifying potential partners and developing tailored proposals.
Handle promotional items, including ordering, inventory management, and distribution.
Coordinate banners for events on and off Devon Park, from production to display and partner coordination.
Support execution of annual council meeting logistics, trade shows, conventions, and museum fundraisers, including sponsorship, signage, and event coordination.
Assist in the marketing of the USA Softball store, including inventory management and promotional strategies.
Coordinate athlete appearances at events and partner activations, managing travel logistics and scheduling.
Coordinate with HPP and National Team events to facilitate partner involvement, athlete experiences, logistics, and merchandise.
Coordinate content creation, including logistics, scheduling, and branding compliance.
Participate in the Museum Committee, which develops exhibits, events, and communications.
REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to work at the National Office in Oklahoma City, OK.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, sports management, event planning, or related field.
Experience in marketing, business development, partnership activation, or donor relations.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong understanding of marketing concepts and strategy.
Proficiency in Photoshop, Canva, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends and travel domestically.
Ability to lift heavier packages and work outside for event setup.
Familiarity with softball culture and an understanding of college and amateur softball dynamics are preferred and considered advantageous for this role.
Salary range for this position is $52,000-57,500, depending on experience.
