Budget Management Analyst
The Opportunity:
As a budget management specialist, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it’s imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That’s why we need you, an experienced budget management specialist who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.

You will be responsible for creating, developing, and modifying reporting metrics related to the budget and spend plan, including current year and multi-year planning. This is a chance to influence a meaningful mission while learning how to develop and maintain program strategy.
In the role you will support development and refinement of budget input from team leads and track spending throughout the current year against the approved spend plan. You will also support the development of the annual spend plan under the direction of designated government POCs and coordinate receiving approval on the spend plan.

You Have:
10+ years of experience with budgets
Experience with managing Information Technology projects
Experience with drafting responses to budget or spend plan related data calls
Experience in life cycle and project management methodologies
Experience in tracking costs, schedule and performance progress
Ability to facilitate meetings and provide briefings on budget taskers
Ability to identify and mitigate risks
Public Trust
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
