A week in the life of a Software Developer, Journey:
Support development team responsible for the Global Reusable Interface Domain (GRID) tool.
Experience with programming languages such as C++/C/Java/C#/Rust, Python scripting, algorithm development.
Design, develop, and evaluate code for real time modeling of environmental factors in a distributed battlespace simulation.
Collaborate with team members. Interfacing with sensor models.
Analyze and profile program performance.
Work with industry, SMEs, and operators to push the state of the art in simulation used for platform Operational Test and high-end training.
Job Requirements
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
BS in Computer Science or Engineering. Degrees in Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, or Aerospace, Computer, Software Systems, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering may qualify as substitute.
Must be able to obtain a maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
Must have the ability to accommodate a hybrid schedule (1 week per quarter; every 3 months) onsite support at Pax River (Managers discretion).

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $75,000.00-126,000.00. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
