The Operations Analyst uses skills as a seasoned and experienced administrative operations professional to manage, plan and administer the operations including human resources, clinical, finance, education, facilities and technology of the Hematology-Oncology Division at Zuckerberg San Francisco General (ZSFG) Hospital. Reporting to the Division Manager, the incumbent will perform short- and long-term planning for the division The incumbent must demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
As part of the administrative core, the incumbent will be responsible for coordinating the daily operations of the division including onboarding and off-boarding of faculty, staff and trainees, compliance with UCSF and SFDPH rules and regulations, procurement, facilitates and IT management, engagement and communications as well as collaborating with Office of Sponsored Research, Research Finance, HR and IT Departments.
***NOTE: This role will be mostly on-site in the beginning with an option for hybrid after training.

Thorough knowledge of University rules and regulations, processes, protocols and procedures for budget, accounting and fund management, and / or personnel management.
Solid knowledge of common University-specific computer application programs including UCPath, BearBuy, PeopleConnect, MyExpense.
BA/BS degree with a major in a related field and two years of experience in administrative analysis or operations management; administration, business or related field; and/or equivalent experience/training.
Strong skills in short-term planning, analysis, problem-solving, and customer service.
Thorough knowledge of financial analysis and reporting techniques, and / or human resources policies and procedures for staff and academic employees.
Knowledge of a variety of administrative operational activities such as event planning, basic fundraising processes, risk management planning, website design, accounting and payroll, and contracts and grants regulations and guidelines.
Ability to operate effectively in a changing organizational and technological environment
Interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, active listening, critical thinking, persuasiveness, advising and counseling skills.
Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.
