Description
The Anaheim Convention Center (ACC) reigns as the largest exhibit facility on the West Coast, having hosted such large, well-attended events as the Winter NAMM Show, Disney's D23 Expo and Citrix Synergy. Originally opened in 1967, the ACC currently spans 53 acres and offers 1.6 million square feet of function space and many dynamic features. The ACC completed its seventh expansion in the Fall of 2017, providing an additional 200,000 square feet of flexible meeting space to our guests.
Under moderate supervision, direct vehicles to the proper parking area.
This is a part time position averaging 20-hours per week. A minimum number of hours is not guaranteed. Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays is highly desirable.

Essential Functions
Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
Receive payment of parking fees and make proper change. Issue receipts refunds or change due to customers, balance transactions and unsold parking tickets.
Use a credit card machine and cash register. Answer customers' questions and provide information on procedures and policies.
Maintain a clean and orderly checkout booth.
Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
Knowledge of principles and practices of providing customer service; basic math; record keeping methods; cash receipts; cash register, use of credit card scanners and a calculator.
Ability to add and subtract, multiply or divide quickly and correctly; follow policies and procedures; operate a calculator, credit card scanner and a cash register; communicate orally and deal effectively and diplomatically with the public, supervisors and fellow employees.
ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS: Environmental Conditions: Due to the nature of work assignments, incumbents work outside in inclement weather and in contact with grease, oil, smoke, fumes and gases.
Physical Conditions: Due to the nature of work assignments, incumbents stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Note: These are event related positions. While the hours of work are irregular and no minimum number of hours is guaranteed, employees are expected to be available for an average of twenty hours per week. Availability to permit scheduling during early mornings, weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays as assigned may be required.
