Description
TPG Pediatrics is looking for a FULL TIME LPN/RN to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals.We are a large pediatric practice in Northern Virginia dedicated to excellent patient care. TPG prides itself on providing work-life balance and an opportunity for growth for all of it's employees. Experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person. Employee safety is a priority at TPG. We have daily cleaning procedures in place and provide PPE to include OSHA fit testing for all employees. Daytime weekday schedule between 7:30 and 5:30pm. Once per month rotation in our Saturday clinic (8am-1pm).
Hourly wage differentials are paid for our Saturday morning clinics.
The position is located at our Fairfax location

Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs general nursing care for patients under the direction of the providers.
Arrange patient referrals to specialists, special tests, and/or hospital admissions.
Provides educational aids and information to parent/patients by telephone or in person.
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION AND CREDENTIALS:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
Experience preferred, preferably in a pediatric medical group practice but willing to train the right person.
Possession of a Commonwealth of Virginia Nursing License
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge required to maintain a safe work environment.
Skilled in applying and modifying the principles, methods, and techniques of professional nursing to provide patient care.
Possess the ability to maintain quality control standards, react calmly and effectively in emergencies, interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures, communicate clearly, and work effectively with co-workers, while maintaining confidentiality of clinical information
