The Role
The Lead Government Property Administrator \u2013 Federal is responsible for tracking all Government property on his/her respective program throughout its life cycle in accordance with Government-approved Lumen Government Property Management Plan and the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).

The Main Responsibilities
- Reconcile purchase orders, receiving, and asset detail to build unique records for each piece of Government equipment per FAR requirements.
- Maintain backup files supporting records for Government audit purposes.
\u2022 Generate and deliver quarterly and annual property reports to Government customers.
\u2022 Oversee disposition of excess, obsolete, or damaged Government property.
\u2022 Work with field personnel and warehouses in conducting physical inventories of Government assets and that all database records are updated/adjusted appropriately.
\u2022 Open Lost, Damaged, Destroyed or Theft (LDDT) cases with the Government for any equipment falling in this category.
\u2022 Work with engineers and field techs on any issues regarding Government property.
\u2022 Interface with customers as required on issues pertaining to Government property.
\u2022 Provide regular status reports to the Program Management Office (PMO) on the contract they are supporting.
\u2022 Identify issues or enhancements needing IT support to improve functionality of the asset management system.
\u2022 Act as backup to Property Manager to oversee other employees and ensure work is progressing as required and that all deliverables are met accurately and on time.
\u2022 Participate in Government audits and ensure all data is available to auditors as required.
\u2022 Some travel required.
What We Look For in a Candidate
\u2022 Must be able to communicate effectively.
\u2022 Highly organized and be able to multi-task.
\u2022 Advanced working knowledge of the FAR.
\u2022 Prior experience in using SAP system.
\u2022 Ability to work effectively and positively in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience:
\u2022 At least five years experience in Government property administration.
\u2022 Formal Training and Certification in Property Management a strong plus.
\u2022 Associate\u2019s degree preferred.
Security Requirements:
\u2022 US Citizenship required.
\u2022 Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information (applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation). A current TS/SCI Poly clearance required
Compensation
The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee"s primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual"s qualifications.
Location Based Pay Ranges
$93210 - $124280 in these states: VA.
As with the pay range variety that"s based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.
