Education:
A bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, merchandising, or a similar field of study, or equivalent years of related work experience is required.
Work Experiences:
10+ years of in retail management, retail operations, or visual merchandising
5+ years leading project teams
Experience opening new stores
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects
Experience in a fast-paced, complex, and ambiguous environment
Skills:

Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
Oversee all aspects of New Store Implementation and team of Project Managers
Lead the new store implementation responsibilities, including New Store Openings, Building Relocations, and Store Update Projects.
Ensure all projects meet standards, including execution planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, changes, risks, and other issues as they arise.
Create and define long-term strategies and tactics to improve new store implementation and execution.
Analyze and use data for decision-making insights regarding projects and improvements.
Analyzes the probable impact of recommendations and solutions from other business groups
Conducts post-implementation analysis
Manage resources to cover project timelines and expectations adequately
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Store Operations, Real Estate, Construction, Human Resources, and Legal.
Collaborate with field leadership to understand each project and tailor strategies to meet business needs
Seek feedback from our store leaders to gain clarity on opportunities within areas of accountability
Stay connected to relevant market and industry trends that impact New Store Implementation and enable better decision-making for Academy initiatives
