Nature and Scope of Job:
Evening Supervisor for the New Brunswick Adult Learning Center. This includes three evening programs: CARES-NBHS Credit Recovery Program; NJYC After hours Program; Adult Basic Education Classes. The supervisor will maintain all aspects of the three programs including observations and evaluations (where needed), registration, and, management of day to day evening operations.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Supervisor endorsement by the NJ Department of Education, or Vice-Principal endorsement by the NJ Department of Education
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Management of day to day operations Attend evening meetings and provide leadership, instruction and motivation maintaining morale, efficiency and professional growth of staff. Provide the necessary organization, supervision, guidance and direction for all evening programs in the Adult Learning Center. Appraise program, staff and self in consistency with philosophy, objectives and goals of the district. Organize and assimilate facts about an instructional or administrative problem and make decisions. Observes and co-evaluates evening teaching staff and evening non-teaching personnel as designated by the Principal Supervise evening registration of students for adult classes

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
