Position Purpose
The Master Planner is responsible for being a lead member of the project team in regard to planning and the documentation, organization, graphic representation, and presentation of assets for the project that relate to inventory and analysis, programming and throughput development, initial site organization and design, illustrative and communicative graphics and tools for the project. This person will work with the Head of the Department to organize the project and work efforts.
Essential Responsibilities / Accountabilities
- Act as the Lead Planner on projects with minimal to no supervision and direction, with the ability to coordinate and communicate with the project team and any supporting planners.
- Lead multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate with management on the project and general planning demands.
- Responsible for time management, workflow, supervision of others' work, as well as standard of quality.
- Provide design oversight and input to the team regarding planning and site design at all project phases.
- Ability to make intuitive and creative design decisions with minimal to no direction
- Ability to present and participate in client-facing meetings and design charrettes regarding planning, programming and site development issues.
- Proficient in using and learning quickly a diversity of software and technology tools: AutoCAD & Adobe Creative Suite ; Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam Studio and other relevant BIM software.
- Experienced user of Sketchup or other 3D model programs
- Ability to organize, produce and present high-quality design and documentation
- Ability to work independently and use sound judgment to complete assignments in a timely manner
- Demonstrate strong organization and communication ability with various disciplines/consultants
- Travel for client presentations and site visits
- Perform assigned duties according to the policies and expectations prescribed by the company.

Minimum Qualifications
To perform the essential responsibilities, individuals must have the following level of education and experience, or equivalent combination. Additionally, the following certifications, knowledge, skills, or physical requirements are necessary for the position.
? Minimum 7 to 10+ years of work experience in themed entertainment or related field.
? Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, Architecture or a related major.
? Field experience or construction process experience, (having taken a significant project or portfolio of projects from documentation to construction, or equivalent and applicable experience)
Salary: $115,000.00 - $135,000.00
