Job Description
Employee Responsibilities:
The candidate must function well and be able to collaborate in a fast-paced, integrated, multidisciplinary team environment in a laboratory-based role.
Perform analytical assays on various vaccine process intermediates, products and related experimental samples utilizing one or more of the following techniques:
Plate based characterization (ELISA, enzymatic activity)
Absorbance (UV-vis) and fluorescence protein quantification
Laboratory responsibilities include preparation of buffers and testing reagents.
Testing documented in electronic laboratory notebooks and corresponding data review.
Maintain records and test results following good manufacturing practices (GMP).
Qualifications
The ideal candidate would possess:
General laboratory skills including experience with pipettes, general analytical equipment, and other instrumentation.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Strong organization and attention to detail.
Ability to learn new techniques and perform multiple tasks simultaneously while keeping accurate records, following standardized procedures, and comply with company policies (GMP knowledge a plus).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry or other related degree concentration with a minimum of 1 -2 years relevant experience.
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
