Program Director
Perform a wide range of difficult to complex administrative activities and clinical supervision; coordinate and direct operations and team members so as to ensure efficient and profitable operations.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that the activities of this position and relevant programs are consistent with the mission, vision and values of Catholic Charities, Diocese of
Plan, develop, analyze and evaluate the delivery of program services within social determinant of health and trauma informed care principles and practices to best meet the needs of the
Direct and coordinate program activities and functions, utilizing knowledge of site/corporation’s established policies, procedures and
Ensure operational efficiency through appropriate assignment of cases to staff providing varied complex and noncomplex social
Prepare periodic program budget estimates and reports to major funding sources and seek funding for program
Ensure governmental, licensing requirements and quality assurance norms are
Prepare work schedules; assign or delegate
Interpret and disseminate policy to employees and evaluate employee
Initiate personnel actions such as recruitments, selections, transfers, promotions, and disciplinary or dismissal
Maintain relationships with a wide variety of clients, businesses, community and civic
Perform other duties as necessary to accomplish
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
Travel throughout service area required for transporting clients to and from activities;
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, climb, reach, navigate stairs on an frequent basis at work site for stocking shelves, working with clients and maintaining a safe environment;
Reading, writing and finger dexterity to manage data entry, faxing, copying, answering phones, forms/documents, computer and client files required on a frequent basis;
Tasks require visual perception and discernment for looking through belongings on an occasional basis;
Respond to crises as they occur on the floor by quick and spontaneous whole body movements (walking, bending, standing, pushing, pulling) to perform de-escalation with clients on a frequent basis.
Able to occasionally lift/carry up to 30 lbs. unassisted.
Requirements:
Combination of education and experience normally represented by a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling or related
From 3-5 years of fiscal, administrative, management and supervisory experience
Must have excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication
Must have the ability to relate to a wide variety of people: professionals, clients, volunteers, as well as organizations and systems, both public and
Ability to supervise clerical and/or professional
Ability to effectively and productively work with people of very diverse economic, cultural and administrative
Must be well organized, detail oriented and the ability to maintain
Must be able to form good working and therapeutic
Must have the ability to effectively manage a variety of concurrent and varying
Good working knowledge of computers and familiarity with Microsoft Office
Must have valid Ohio Driver’s License and reliable means of transportation for local
