Epson, a $10B global leader in high-quality consumer electronics, imaging, and point of sale printing devices, is seeking an exceptional Associate Portfolio Planning Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for assisting the product marketing business planning process, scheduling deliverables and alignment meetings across multiple areas of the business. In addition, you will also be developing and recommending the portfolio mix, unit volumes, channel mix, monthly timing, product pricing, promo depth/frequency, and dealer margin scenarios that optimize the growth and profitability targets for each of the businesses. This position will be based out of our Los Alamitos, CA office with the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule. At Epson, our hybrid schedule is only 6 days per month.
Principle Accountabilities In addition to the following Epson's policies and procedures, principle accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
Portfolio Planning Management
Assists in the development and update of the quarterly (FC’s), annual business plan (BP), and mid-term plan three year forecast (MTP)
Coordinates with BIJ Commercial & Scanning on key due dates and submissions; help consolidate and update executive review presentations
Provides detailed data plans with documented assumptions behind the portfolio mix, unit volumes, revenue dollars, channel mix, market share, shelf share, pricing, promo depth, and ink usage curves
Leads the analysis of sales/market trend, seasonality, promotion effectiveness/ROI, channel shift, and competitive info to support the inkjet portfolio management
Develops monthly and quarterly sales report and provide strategic insight about variances to BP/FC, key drivers to variance, and the impact on total revenue/CMP goals
Assists in developing and improving forecast process for Commercial/Distribution, estore, and other customers
Assists in proposing portfolio mix, unit volumes, channel mix, and dealer margin to maximize revenue and profit
Assists in developing executive summary presentations on BP/FC/MTP, and WSM/SSM, etc
Coordinates and manages key meeting schedule and business planning calendars
Builds strong relationships with key members of Product Management, Sales, Sales Operations, Supply Chain, FP&A, Strategy, and SEC to enable strategic business forecast alignment and ongoing process improvement
What You Will Bring
5-8 years of experience at an intermediate level
Completion of an undergraduate program or equivalent experience (B.A. or B.S.)
Advanced knowledge of Excel: Possesses the ability to use spreadsheets, graphing, tables, calculations, and automation efficiently to process large quantities of data relevant to business tasks
Proficient in making dynamic PowerPoint presentations
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to drive project success
The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $97,314 and $195,904. Please note that this position’s salary range may include multiple levels. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
