Quality Design Intern
The Quality Design Intern supports the quality assurance activities related to development and manufacture of medical devices. The intern will work with design quality engineers to assist on various PDP (Product Development Process) projects. Typical job duties might include:
Working with design quality engineer to maintain the following product quality system master lists: hazardous substances evaluation reports, design traceability matrix, product transport conditions under MDR requirements, measurement equipment assessments, SAP QIP (quality inspection plan), external, standards review reports.
Working with design quality engineer to execute the quality specification (QS) validation.
Required Qualifications
Working toward a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or other related discipline.
Ability to read and follow device inspection procedures
Computer experience and skills including MS Word & Excel.
Ability to use microscope
Desired Qualifications
Strong analytical capability and organization skills.
Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment and autonomously.
Knowledge of medical device industry
Demonstrated knowledge of minitab

Relocation may be available for qualified candidates.
