Shenandoah University’s Department of Division of Communication Sciences and Disorders is accepting applications for a Program and Admissions Coordinator. This is a full-time benefited position located on our Scholar Plaza campus in Leesburg, Virginia.
The Program and Admissions Coordinator works under the direction of the Division/Program Director. This individual supervises the administrative aspects of the Program to ensure proper functioning of day-to-day operations. While supporting the mission of the Program, Division, and University, this individual will assist students, faculty, and staff in a professional, friendly, effective, and timely manner with the day-to-day operations of the program and on-campus clinic. In addition, this individual will work collaboratively with key persons during the student admissions process. The majority of the work will be done on the Loudoun site with an opportunity for remote work one to two days a week.
Essential Functions:
Maintain Student Records
Prepares part-time faculty contracts and honoraria
Communicates with the registrar's office regarding semester class schedules, the graduate catalog, and graduation clearance.
Tracks program expenditures and processes budget request forms
Assists with planning and execution of major annual events in the Division including Division Hooding ceremonies, new student orientation, and annual retreats.
Assists with the preparation of annual and self-study reports for accreditors.
Processes admissions applications and supports admissions and recruitment activities for the program.

Education:
Required: Level: High School Diploma
Preferred: Level: Bachelor's Degree

Experience:
Required: 2 years of experience in an office setting
Preferred: 2 years experience in an academic, healthcare, or comparable setting
