Job Summary
Under the administrative direction of the Superintendent and the Board of Education, provides leadership in the areas of curriculum, instruction, staff development and student support services.
Plans, organizes and directs the activities and operations of the District’s Educational Services department and assigned programs; Provides leadership and serves as lead administrator in developing, achieving and maintaining educational programs and services in the Division of Educational Services; formulates and develops educational systems, policies, standards and procedures in compliance with a variety of district, county, federal, state and local laws, policies, rules and regulations; serve as a member of the Superintendent’s Cabinet; supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel.
Requirements / Qualifications
Possession of a valid California Administrative Services Credential authorizing service as a K-12 Administrator.
Equivalent to completion of a Master of Arts or higher degree from an accredited college or university in educational administration, curriculum and instruction, or other closely related areas. A Doctoral degree in education or a related field is desirable.
A valid Class C California driver license (by first day of service); and insurability by the District's liability insurance carrier.
Computer skills in Microsoft Office and Google platform.
