The Customer Service Specialist partners with customers and AkzoNobel Sales Team delivering a differentiated customer sales order fulfillment experience.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for all aspects of sales order management and fulfillment delivering on commitments.
Solid communication with internal and external customers, including cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Manufacturing, Logistics, and other functions to resonate the customer's voice throughout our business and facilitate a high level of customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements
The Customer Service Specialist, using exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills, is able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers, having strong knowledge of sales principals, problem resolution, and success in qualifying and supporting the on-boarding of opportunities.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate of Science or Bachelor of Science degree in related field preferred.
3-5 years’ experience in customer services and/or sales support in a paints and coatings industry or related business-to-buiness industry.
Strong knowledge of sales principles, practices and techniques.
Excellent customer service orientation with effective communication and presentation skills. Must be able to manage stakeholders.
Effective organizational, time management and decision-making skills.
Basic understanding of financial concepts related to sales and customer services.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
Ability to Adhere to all applicable corporate as well as site policies/procedures with regards to personal conduct/Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) standards, acting in compliance with all regulations.
Total Compensation
This position will be paid an annual base salary with eligibility for overtime for hours worked 40+ in a given work week. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus and employee benefits that are effective the first day of employment.
