Overview
Abacus Technology is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst to provide technical support for Picatinny Arsenal. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities
Provide routine troubleshooting and maintenance of IT hardware including servers, clients, printers, network hardware, etc.
Provide routine troubleshooting of IT software, TCP/IP configuration, operating systems errors, etc.
Verify server and client configurations and interfaces with local Information Assurance (IA) and networking entities for network connectivity.
Re-image IT systems into server and client computers IAW DoD standards and agency guidelines to include all post-installation tasks.
Provide system administration for IT software.
Support and maintain telecommunications systems.
Prepare and facilitate secure and unsecure video teleconferences utilizing Government owned and provided equipment.
Troubleshoot system hardware and software problems.
Configure, apply, and troubleshoot software upgrades.
Provide research and analysis of systems problems, and coordinate with the technical staff to document findings and events.
Qualifications
3+ years experience in IT systems and technical support. Must be Security+ certified. Experience with computers, networks, systems analysis, automated systems design, data system interfaces, system development cycles and concepts, and information processing standards and methods. Experience identifying operational/processing problems, evaluating alternative approaches, adapting precedents and procedures, and planning and implementing or recommending resolution to resolve problems. Knowledge of capabilities and limitations of IT equipment and systems design methods and familiarity with network management and cyber security approaches and requirements to recommend improvements, evaluate alternate configurations, and develop concepts for modifications and future systems. Must have extensive experience with Windows Active Directory, DNS, TCP/IP, switch and router configuration, PKI, and SSL. Solid customer service skills, including good communication and the ability to demonstrate professionalism and strong customer service skills. Must be a US Citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
