Essential Duties and Responsibilities
. Ensure an exceptional customer experience by promoting KA - Bs mission to inspire and share the joy of baking by consistently delivering outstanding customer service, managing a highly motivated team, and fostering a welcoming and inclusive store environment. Manage the hiring, evaluation, motivation, and recognition of store employees. Develops and implements plans to drive topline sales and profitability; inspires team to achieve sales plans. Work with the Inventory Planning, Merchandising & Visual Merchandising teams to ensure the store is fully stocked and aligned with KAB merchandising guidelines. Manages expense and payroll budgets; builds and optimizes retail team scheduleSupports delivery of training across product knowledge, baking knowledge, company values, sales, and customer service; holds self to the high level of knowledge in these areas. Develop and execute marketing plans and events to drive traffic and sales for the retail store. Engage with the local community to promote the store, building strong relationships. Support with store opening tasks, such as vendor coordination, recruitment and staffing, new store opening marketing and awareness building, logistics and inventory management for store opening, and the post-opening analysis of store performance, opportunities for improvement, and customer feedback. Education and Experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail management, with at least 2 years in a general manager role. Passion for baking. Enthusiasm for retail and a customer-centric mindset. Proficient in POS systems and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)We value those who can demonstrate capability and articulate how prior experiences will help them transition into this role.
