Position Overview:
Reporting directly to the VP of Experiential Marketing, the Senior Manager of Merchandising is responsible for leading our company promo store. This position will creatively capture the essence of our brand and engage our audience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of the company promo store, including store development, product selection, vendor relationships, inventory management, order fulfillment and budgeting.
- Work with cross functional teams, including project management, creative, marketing, and procurement to expand our merchandise offerings, increase engagement, and enhance our brand presence.
- Collaborate with the development team to enhance the functionality and user experience of our online store platform to curate a best-in-class e-commerce shopping experience.
- Collaborate with the VP of Experiential Marketing to identify project goals, scope, and deliverables. Create project plans, timelines, schedules, and budgets to ensure the efficient and effective completion of projects.
- Monitor and assess feedback and satisfaction from the field to improve the overall shopping experience and to understand their merchandise needs and preferences.
- Continuously research and identify new vendors and products and establish launch calendar based on past performance, business needs, and market trends.
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to drive sales, increase engagement, and promote brand loyalty.
- Ability to re-evaluate project priorities as the business environment evolves, recommending adjustments to the roadmap as new priorities emerge.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on season selling to be used in leadership meetings.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, related field, or equivalent combination of education/experience preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in merchandising.
- Experience in merchandise management, budget management and team leadership.
- Experience managing and coordinating offshore development teams, a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent leadership skills and business acumen.
- Proficiency in Shopify is a preferred.
