A Typical Workday May Include:
Monitor and administer all plant specific and corporate food safety and quality programs per the Cargill Policy Manual (CFSRA) and the Global Food
Safety Standards (BRC).
Perform and record monitoring activities, process verifications and audits throughout the facility including raw material audits, documenting deviations, and recording corrective actions and may retain or hold non-conforming product of limited or few areas or processing lines.
Enter limited data in Food Safety, Quality and Regulatory data systems with general direction and guidance.
Review and complete shipping and receiving documentation, enter information into computerized systems and resolve discrepancies or issues as needed, by working with knowledge of processes and procedures.
Interact with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations relative responsibilities and knowledge with authority to make minor changes, as defined by management.
Support multiple operation system responsibilities such as producing reports, inputting daily and monthly activity and issuing temporary layoffs (TLOs).
Responsible for inventory administration activities such as entering inventory adjustments, updating customer inventories, and producing shorts report updates.
Perform physical inventory counts.
Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures including equipment lock ins an outs and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need:
Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Must be 18 years or older
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator
Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
Basic computer skills
Ability to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends, or different shifts with advance notice
What Will Put You Ahead:
High School diploma or Equivalent
Working knowledge of Microsoft office software, with an emphasis on Excel and Word, Outlook
Experience with SAP, AS400, and Kronos
