Primary Duties
1. Provide administrative support for Welcome Weekend reception, graduation reception, and other annual MUHP events & activities. | 2. Monitor curricular requirements for all MUHP students (400+). Maintain master list of all participants, tracking their progress in meeting program requirements. Track GPAs, audit transcripts, and notify students of any deficiencies. 3. Coordinate enrollment for all MUHP courses. 4. Coordinate all aspects of Senior Honors Project. 5. Assist Director in planning all MUHP-sponsored events on campus. Coordinate services for events including venue, audio-visual equipment, promotional pieces, tickets, travel arrangements for speakers, and corresponding social events during speaker visits. 6. Make arrangements for all other MUHP events including ordering tickets and arranging transportation to off-site venues. 7. Monitor event attendance requirements for all MUHP students across 8 semesters (or until they graduate). 8. Monitor program graduation eligibility. 9. Coordinate arrangements for MUHP Graduate Reception & Medallion Ceremony. 10. Maintain MUHP website and Facebook page. 11. Respond as first point of contact to participating student and faculty inquiries. 12. Prepare and submit department budget. 13. Provide general administrative support services to the MUHP and Director. 14. Provide administrative support for the Book Of The Year (BOTY) program, including making posters, signs, and sign-up lists for student seminars. 15. With MUHP director, oversee Harbor House (honors house on campus) , solicit new residents each year, onboard new residents, meet monthly with resident to stay abreast of concerns and needs, coordinate arrangements for Harbor House events (c. once per month). 16. Design the weekly MUHP News and send electronically every Monday. 17. With MUHP director, oversee the Honors Leadership Council (HLC); publicize HLC applications; onboard new members; collaborate with HLC members on sponsored events. 18. Manage program’s technical needs with ITS staff. 19. Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
Secondary Duties
1. Assist Director with establishing policy and requirements for the MUHP. 2. Create and administer a web-based survey to collect data from graduating seniors. 3. Coordinate 4-5 honors day events with Admissions staff, including arranging 300 scholarship interviews. 4. Other duties as assigned.
