Host/Hostess
The Host/Hostess is responsible for welcoming all who enter the Restaurant, Members and Team Members alike. While assisting with reservations, providing information, and directing individuals, this position will need to display all aspects of hospitality.
Duties & Expectations
Welcoming our members by name and answering the phone in a courteous manner
Booking reservations for all outlets and responding to all inquiries in a timely manner
Providing members with sincere advice and obliging recommendations
Learning and promoting the club’s services, events, facilities, and amenities and be able to direct guests accordingly
Monitoring the opening dining sections of the restaurant for empty and cleaned tables while managing the flow of members
Maintaining a stocked, tidy, and clean work area at all times
Assisting the service team with meal period resets and side work
Abiding by all laws pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages
Accurately charge members for To Go orders
Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager
Qualifications
Skills & Qualifications
Previous customer service experience required
Basic knowledge of service styles and etiquette such as appropriate table settings, the order of service, & wine service
Have knowledge of the food menu, daily specials, and wine menu
Mandatory to work on all holidays, weekends, nights, and day shifts as needed
Must be able to quickly learn and adapt to our POS System
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, high-pressure environment
Ability to perform physical job duties such as carrying plates, moving small furniture, & carrying a full server tray
Prior club, fine dining, or hospitality experience preferred
Possess a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with all departments and members
