Responsible for digital communications activities to support the advancement of a major university division, program or center through the planning and coordination of integrated media across communications platforms.
Leads communication efforts across current and emerging digital media platforms within a specific college or division.
Identifies program needs and implements targeted initiatives and outreach strategies.
Manages project lifecycle for all approved digital media initiatives and participates in strategic planning.
Guides user experience, design, and compatibility of program websites. Executes updates and manages content for all program web pages.
Develops comprehensive social media strategy, curating both daily content and long-term campaigns
Coordinates external and internal e-communications, including emails, electronic newsletters and digital signage.
Initiate production of video and other media content to support program goals and priorities.
Collaborates with media producers on campus and outside vendors. Supervises video equipment, assets, and data storage.
May work with University IT and division administrators for specific projects.
Leverage monitoring and reporting tools to define key engagement metrics and grow audience; track project success and compile detailed reports showing trends and insights across media platforms. Performs other job-related duties as required EEO/AA
Bachelors and 3 years experience
Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Requires a minimum of three (3) years of directly job-related experience.
