Introduction to role:
Join our Oncology Business Unit as an Associate Director, Lung Cancer Congress Strategy. This remote role is part of the Lung Marketing Team and reports to the Director, Lung Strategy and Commercialization. The key focus of this role is to develop strategies and priorities for all key lung congresses across IO and EGFR/ADC Lung franchises and supporting indications. This position will ensure accurate planning and execution of the strategy, improving synergies and resources across brands. Accountabilities:
As the Associate Director, you will develop strategies and plans for national, regional, and local lung congresses. You will serve as the key point on the US Lung marketing team for all congresses, coordinating with other teams, ensuring timely execution and effective communication of plans. You will lead congress booth design and implementation, sponsorships, and media. You will also work closely with members of the marketing team to coordinate assets and content as needed to fit within the exhibit booth experience and layout.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 7 years of pharmaceutical and/or healthcare confirmed experience in one or more of the following areas: brand marketing, sales, strategic planning, project management
- Oncology experience required
- Available to work some evenings and weekends
- Strong project management, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple stakeholders
- Ability to strategically develop and gauge feasibility, impact, and risks of programs
- 30% travel required
- Lung Cancer Experience
- MBA in marketing or pharmaceutical marketing
- Ability to operate in a highly regulated environment
