Job Description:
Leads, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains integrated plans and schedules for complex projects, programs and change driven activities in accordance with project management industry. Leads studies/analysis (trend, variance, impact), reports, risk assessments and planning efforts to determine impacts, constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives. Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case. Develops and establishes lead time requirements. Facilitates and ensures integration of project/program plan, schedules, change and baseline management, processes, techniques considered to be best practice across the industry. Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives. Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion. Coordinates commitments with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill strategies.
The Program Manager will lead integration of plans for process, digital, and technology changes to enable efficiency, safety, and quality for MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) operations in Jacksonville, FL. The focus will be on filling gaps in process definition and work instructions, identifying production processes impacting postproduction operations, and creating plans for process changes and their implementation.2. Process Definition: The Program Manager will lead the development of a plans to complete the mapping of existing processes in use for MRO. Where needed, clear and standardized processes and work instructions will be developed in collaboration with subject matter experts and stakeholders, aligning with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.3. Future State: The program manager will help manage the development of a future state process model for MRO operations in Jacksonville. 4. Gap Analysis and Process Change Planning: Complete a gap analysis for the future state process model and develop comprehensive plans for process changes. These plans will outline necessary modifications, improvements, or redesigns to enhance efficiency, safety, and quality. The Program Manager will manage the implementation, coordinating with cross-functional teams, monitoring progress, addressing challenges, and providing regular updates to stakeholders.5. Digital and Technological Enablement and Scalability. The Program Manager will explore opportunities for digital and technological enablement to enhance MRO operations. This may involve leveraging digital tools, automation, data analytics, and emerging technologies. The Program Manager will ensure that the changes implemented in Jacksonville are scalable to the San Antonio site, working closely with stakeholders to facilitate knowledge transfer and implementation.6. Documentation, Reporting, and Evaluation. The Program Manager will document all aspects of the process changes, implementation plans, and progress reports. Regular reports will be shared with stakeholders to provide updates on the program's progress. A monitoring and evaluation framework will be established, utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the impact on efficiency, safety, and quality. Evaluations will identify areas for improvement and allow for necessary adjustments to the plans and processes.
