As a Marketplace Manager, you will be responsible for the successful operation, growth, and overall performance of our online marketplace platform. This role involves collaborating with various teams, setting strategic goals, and ensuring a positive experience for both buyers and sellers.
Lead complex processes and analysis, providing guidance and oversight to drive Amazon business growth.
Be a change agent with respect to the Amazon channel. Look to vendor or internal solutions to drive business profitability.
Ability to think strategically and drive ideas into action, with a positive outlook and willingness to take personal initiative.
Identify and prioritize key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve channel performance across internal teams and external distribution centers.
Develop and maintain a broad understanding of company operation, strategies/procedures.
Evaluate needs, create & maintain standard operating procedures for all relevant marketplace operations.
Actively seek out ways to reduce operating costs.
Monitor growth pipelines and work with Digital Channels Manager to prioritize growth initiatives including but not limited to: Discounts, New Products, Private Label, Brand Services, Innovation.
Create and nurture business relationships with supplier partners.
Evaluate and select vendors based on performance, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with organizational goals.
Streamline and enhance operational processes to ensure efficiency and agility.
Implement best practices for workflow management and automation where applicable.
Continuously evaluate and improve processes to adapt to evolving digital trends and technologies.
Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to standards.
Bachelors degree in business, Operations Management, or a related field - or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in operations management with a focus on eCommerce/marketplace.
