A Brief Overview
This role is responsible for daily tasks and projects of the executive team within Bachem Americas, Inc. The team member will be expected to operate at a high level of professionalism and deal with confidential information within the executive team. They will engage with staff and external stakeholders at all levels on behalf of the executive team. The role will report directly to the COO but will work closely with the executive team.
What you will do
- Provides support to COO and the leadership team. Partners with leadership team in a diversified and confidential manner to determine and prioritize business strategies. Prepares, plans and organizes meetings including invitations, agendas, meeting minutes.
- Develops and implements strategic communications plans, change communications and communications for HR initiatives in close collaboration with the Head of Group Communication as well as HR. Supports Bachem Internal communications initiatives through content creation by writing/editing external facing content pieces. Executing on relevant content opportunities for Bachem Americas. Serve as the liaison for Bachem Americas for group-wide communication activities
- Work with global marketing for the design and creation of branded materials to support the needs of Bachem Americas, Inc..
- Work to support leadership team in the development and maintenance of key performance indicators.
- Provide support and oversight for special projects and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or science
- 1-3 years experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical enviroment
- Strong MS Suite skills, particularly MS Project, Sharepoint, PowerPoint, Excel etc.
- Highly organized, and able to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven work environment
- Must excel in working in a team environment
- Strong project management skills
- Strong ability to build internal and external relationships
- Ability to travel between our Torrance and Vista, CA facilities

Base Annual Salary Range: $74,400 - $102,300
Placement of new hires in the wage range is based on several factors including education, skill sets, experience, and training.
