AWS Edge Connectivity service enables AWS Cloud connectivity options for US Intelligence and Department of Defense customers. These connectivity options allow our customer to deploy and run their isolated, sensitive workloads in an environment exclusive for their use-case. We help our customers to onboard, manage, and scale their connectivity options for maintaining persistent connection to AWS Isolated cloud.
We are seeking a Software Development Engineer with an interest in network encryption. This individual should be interested in working with a new technology product for customers outside of data centers. They will influence multiple stakeholders and own defining and driving manufacturing and supply plans to support customer demand impacting global markets. This individual needs to have a passion for ownership, ability to work in ambiguous environments, thrive in pioneering new processes, and able to develop relationships cross functionally and globally.
This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Bachelor's degree, or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional) - Experience programming with at least one software programming language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent - Experience with network Layer2/3 encryption(HAIPE/Ethernet Data Encryption(EDE)) - Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above
