Job Summary
The position offers educational work experience for students interested in working in a health and wellbeing office setting. Requirements include good organizational skills, excellent writing, working as part of a team to accomplish tasks by set deadlines, and proficiency with social media platforms. The applicant must have an attention for detail, understand office etiquette, and maintain confidentiality. Student Office Assistant must be friendly, good natured, and punctual.
Responsibilities
Help with marketing and promotional efforts by utilizing Canvas platform, making posters, and using social media (i.e., Instagram, Facebook, Oberlin College and Conservatory website.). Assist work-orders pick-up and dissemination. Assist in restocking vending and dispensing machines. Assist in managing on-site events preparations for Student Health and Wellbeing before, during, and after events (production, and event breakdown; and ensure consistent, high-level service throughout all phases). Aid in locating referral resources for students.
Qualifications
Applicants must hold current Oberlin College or Conservatory student status. Graduates are not accepted. Effective written and oral communication Ability to understand and maintain confidentiality. Assist in the developing, monitoring, and maintaining social media platforms. Ability to work independently with an awareness to know when to seek guidance or assistance.
