The Boeing Company is looking for a Lead Project Management Specialist to join our Enterprise Software Engineering organization in El Segundo, CA.
The candidate will join the Chief of Staff Office and provide support to our senior software leaders. This position requires engagement with Software engineering leaders and various stakeholders from across the Boeing enterprise. The candidate should have a broad business knowledge to connect and collaborate with enterprise stakeholders to support recommendations to Enterprise Software Leadership Team. This role requires the ability to build relationships quickly at various levels of the organization. This role will need an understanding of prevailing function, organization, and integration issues, to support the development of recommendations on how to address them. Being successful in this position requires coordination at various organizational levels of the Engineering Test & Technology (ET&T) business unit.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develops project and program plans at all levels across functional areas to achieve objectives within scope, time, quality, and constraints from initiation to post completion
- Prepares, analyzes, coordinates, assigns, integrates, and maintains project plans, programs, and initiatives
- Creates and conducts studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving program initiatives
- Leads change management approach and coalesces/aligns stakeholders to identify solutions for business
- Will oversee the development and implementation of plans and objectives
- Lead the efforts to develop and deploy broad organizational strategies
- Provides ownership of executive reviews
- Develops advanced job practices, techniques and organizational standards
- Consults and collaborates with senior leaders to develop drive projects and initiatives that are across functions and business units
- Collaboration and development related to business consulting on high priority project work that cuts across BGS and Enterprise Software
- Evaluating themes and issues throughout the organization (i.e. roundtables), understanding the issues, and identifying the top 2023-2024 priorities and subsequent strategic commitments among the senior leadership team(s)
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors Degree or higher
- 8 or more years of experience leading and managing the development and integration of business plans, strategies and processes to meet business goals
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 10 or more years of experience reviewing and evaluating strategic organizational issues and identifying implementation recommendations
- 10 or more years of experience working with senior leaders/executives to communicate strategic plans and objectives
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: 115,600 – 156,400
