Description
The After School Assistant/Coach (Grs. K-8) will help supervise/coach students in the St. Timothy School’s After School program. The program must support the mission of the school and provide a positive learning environment that allows for students’ personal, social, spiritual and intellectual development. Daily expectations include; providing snacks, homework time and playground time. The Assistant/Coach will work in conjunction with the After School Director to provide activities for the students, which include; art, science, music/dance, etc. The Assistant/Coach is responsible for enforcing policies set forth in the St. Timothy School Handbook and rules governing students. The Assistant/Coach must effectively communicate and be flexible in their approach to tasks. The Assistant/Coach assures shared space is well maintained and left as found. The Assistant/Coach reports to the Director of the After School Program.
Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 3:00 to 6:00 pm and Fridays 12:30 to 6:00 pm
Requirements
Candidate must have experience working with children in a school or day camp setting. College student or bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.

Wage Range The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
