Glumac, a Tetra Tech Company, is seeking a Senior Plumbing Engineer with Healthcare project experience to join our experienced Plumbing Team and growing Healthcare Group in Los Angeles, CA. This position is open to a hybrid home/office work environment. This is your opportunity to save the world one building at a time!
You are someone who has a high level of understanding of plumbing and med gas systems for a variety of healthcare projects and experience working with HCAI/OSHPD. You can execute designs and facilitate projects from conceptual kickoff to the construction administration phase. You have Revit knowledge, an attention to detail, and an understanding of complex systems. You’re able to delegate and efficiently run a project team to meet client and project manager expectations. And to round it out, you’re charismatic and play well with others.
In this role, you’ll be dedicated staff for Glumac’s Healthcare Group, taking the reins and leading project teams to completion on everything from modifications to existing facilities to new ground-up facilities. An opportunity exists for you to develop and grow a dedicated plumbing team for this service sector. We have a robust set of Quality Assurance and Quality Control standards to help facilitate design. Our expertise is great, and our knowledge bench is deep with nearly 30 people contributing to our in-house plumbing team, plus a pool of over 10,000 engineers across our other High Performance Building Group’s offices.
Additional qualifications include:
- Minimum of 7+ years of building-related plumbing experience, primarily in Healthcare
- PE (preferred) or CPE required
- Academic background in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry
This position offers an in-office or hybrid work environment. You must be located in the Los Angeles, CA area to be able to attend project meetings and be in-office to facilitate collaboration at least 2 days a week. Salary Range: $100,000 – $130,000
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the proposed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Glumac’s total compensation package for employees.
