Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Production Manager (Level L) to join our dynamic team in El Segundo, CA.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages employees and first-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines.
- Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives.
- Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
This position is for variable shift. Mainly holding 1st and 2nd shift.
Security Clearance
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Confidential Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of management experience working in a production engineering role or manufacturing environment.
- 5+ years of experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and SharePoint.
- Experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing and analyzing data.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Experience working with hardware integration for spacecraft, missile or aircraft systems.
Relocation:
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
Travel:
Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary pay range: $133,450 - $180,550
