Supports and assists with the coordination and implementation of the Employee Health and Workers Compensation programs.
Processes all Employee Health documents and information in a timely and accurate manner and in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Works collaboratively to develop recommend and/or implement policies practices and work improvement initiatives that support employee prevention of injury and cost-containment for work-related injury/illness.
Monitors incidents for trends and makes recommendations for problem/hazard resolution.
Effectively coordinates all activities associated with Organizations Exposure Control Plan and other Safety programs.
Participates in various committees EHS programs and hospital events.
Demonstrates personal commitment to Organizations programs and goals through participation in personal and professional education and certification programs.
Demonstrates clinical expertise in the assessment and follow through for employees health concerns. Provides prompt and accurate injury assessments and exposure evaluation and management according to OSHA Standards and other regulatory requirements.
Interacts with employees physicians peers and others to foster and maintain open communications. Provides accurate assessments treatments counseling and/or referrals as deemed indicated. Serves as a resource and consultant for any workplace health related concerns. Coordinates programs that support the health and well-being of employees.
Effectively coordinates and administers immunization and screening programs to reach all qualified candidates as demonstrated by employee compliance.
Qualifications
Two years of Clinical/Hospital Employee Health/Safety required.
Occupational nursing experience desirable. Industrial and environmental hygiene.
Graduation from an accredited school of Vocational Nursing.
Current California LVN license
Current BLS
Computer knowledge and skills.
Able to work independently possess good clinical judgment and decision-making abilities.
Accurate physical assessment skills.
Excellent people skills and customer service orientation.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent organization communication and computer skills.
