DIRECTV is seeking a Sr. Analyst of Finance Technology to lead the revenue assurance functions minimizing revenue loss from daily operations. This strategic leader interfaces with Corporate, Network, Sales/Marketing, and Customer Operations organizations to ensure accurate billing. The Sr. Analyst acts as liaison and point of contact for corporate and interdepartmental projects that are revenue impacting.
Here's what you’ll do:
- Exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.
- The CORE functions of a revenue assurance group: Monitoring, Baselining, Auditing, Synchronizing, Investigating, and Compliance.
- Work cross functionally to translate business problems into plain language and design solutions informed by data analysis.
- Have curiosity and apply analytical skills to dive deep into data to find key insights that impact the business.
- Develop models of usage, user behavior, and business behavior to make recommendations and influence the product roadmap.
- Work with other teams across DIRECTV to develop key metrics to achieve business outcomes.
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments to prove product change attribution.
- Develop design, business ready datasets, self-service data tools, and proof of concepts etc. using cutting edge cloud technologies.
- Work with business partners and vendors directly and deliver projects through a mix of development, data analyses, insights, skills capabilities.
- Build robust solutions using Databricks, Python, and SQL.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- 3- 5 years of experience with billing operation functions.
- Expert in Databricks, Python, and SQL.
- Knowledge in billing operations, payments, credit & collections, and revenue assurance.
- Knowledge of DIRECTV systems and tools is a plus, including STMS, Enabler, Taos, RIO, and Salesforce.
- Demonstrate project management skills with the capability to influence and lead diverse teams and projects.

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
DIRECTV WAGE ZONES: $87,400 - $158,700
Low (N1): $87,400 - $131,100
Mid (N2): $92,000 - $138,000
High (N3): $101,200 - $151,800
Top (N4): $105,800 - $158,700
