The Investments and Capital Markets (I&CM) division is responsible for management of the retained portfolio as well as the organizations debt funding, liquidity management and interest-rate hedging. The division is also responsible for I&CM securitization.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred
5 - 7 years of application development and support coupled with infrastructure experience
5 years of hands-on experience building solutions in Java.
5 years of collective experience of Java, Java frameworks, Web Services, SQL, Jenkins, Git Repository, Unix, Linux
Solid Understanding with databases (Sybase, DB2, SQL Server, Postgres)
Nice to have experience in HTML, Bootstrap, JDBC, ODBC, Nginx and Gunicorn
Experience using GitLab, Git TeamForge, Conda, Artifactory and Docker
Experience working in a test-driven continuous integration continuous delivery (CI/CD) environment
Ability to triage and prioritize concurrent tasks
Excellent interpersonal, team, verbal, written and listening skills
Ability to speak directly with business customers to derive requirements and understand challenges
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask; can set priorities and follow a timeline
Strong decision making and problem-solving skills and experience with project delivery
Sound proficiency with Python and Java based technologies.
Familiarity with Mortgage Industry or direct Freddie Mac Experience is a plus

Sound technical knowledge and hands on coding experience with delivering Java and Python based projects
Provide solutions to technical issues
Work towards tactical outcome to increase development team’s efficiency and productivity
Problem resolution skills and good documentation
Understand the customer’s business processes and the end-to-end software ecosystem in which products operate, including upstream data dependencies and downstream consumers
Coordinate end to end application onboarding to production
Ability to positively adapt to rapidly growing and changing environment
Train and mentor other team members on standard methodologies and past best practices
Some weekend and evening hours will be required

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $118,000 - $178,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
