QinetiQ US is currently seeking a Budget/ Financial Analyst to support budget and financial management efforts within the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD). Specific tasks will include:

• Conduct analysis on financial and budgetary trends impacting the office.
• Assist in developing and monitoring metrics to track the effectiveness and progress of programs.
• Monitor program execution to ensure alignment with DoD Comptroller Obligation and Expenditure benchmarks.
• Prepare various documents and briefings for review and use by senior DoD leaders.
• Assist in the development of required DoD PPBE process documentation, including RDT&E Descriptive Summaries, Budget Issue Papers, and Program Decision Memorandums.
• Assist in identifying efficiencies and process improvements to enhance mission and cost effectiveness.

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Secret clearance required. #qinetiqclearedjob
• 5 years related experience required.
• Must have experience with drafting and submitting Military Interdepartmental Purchase Request (MIPR) - DD448s, DD448-2s, adjudicating unliquidated obligations (ULOs), and processing General Terms and Conditions documents - DoD Form 7600.
• 3+ years of DoD financial management experience required with 2+ years experience work with/in Defense Agency Initiative (DAI)
