EDUCATION:
? Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Health Management, Psychology, or
other relevant field. Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
? Project Management certification is preferred.
? Health Information Management certifications preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
? 5-10 years of Project Management and Methodologies, Strategic Planning experience. Hands-on
experience leading projects centered around growth strategy and service innovation highly desirable.
? Experience leading, managing and delivering projects within a multi-site medical model is preferred; strong
understanding of various project management methodologies and tools.
? Previous work experience in healthcare or behavioral health organizations preferred.

? Previous process improvement experience and certification like LEAN Six Sigma, Six Sigma Black/Green

? Experience developing and delivering technical and non-technical presentations for team, corporate, and service line leadership. Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
? Thorough knowledge of local, state, federal, and applicable regulations regarding the management of EHR client information, and HIPAA. Or the ability to acquire this knowledge.
? Ability to acquire an understanding of organization and department policies, procedures, and practices.
? Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and learn department-specific technology and computer systems.
? Proficiency with MS Office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Outlook), Smartsheets, JIRA , other project management tools and familiar with EHR systems.
? Ability to communicate effectively, through oral and written skills, with all levels of staff and the general public; and maintain customer service orientation and professionalism in all interactions.
? Ability to exercise discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality with sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
? Ability to obtain and maintain a criminal record/fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation, per Easterseals Southern California and/or program requirements.
? Ability to work after hours and weekends as needed.
? Must pass all drug testing required by ESSC and a post-offer physical evaluation.
