Overview
East West Bank, based in Pasadena, California, is currently seeking a senior level (SVP) Deposit Relationship Manager (DRM) within its newly formed Deposits and Payments group to focus on low-cost, high-quality deposit gathering and fee-based revenue generation. This new team will be comprised of key, high impact talents who has a healthy portfolio of client relationships, strong business development skills, proven track record, and specialized knowledge in deposit and treasury and can generate business immediately.
Responsibilities
Target client segments include a wide range of industry segments and geographic regions in Commercial Banking space but mainly focus on non-borrowing, cash intensive clients.
Target new verticals such as Commercial Property Management, waste management, grocers, etc…
Expand more into title and escrow, HOA, and other specialized low-cost deposit focused business.
Mandate net new core banking relationships with stable, long-term deps at effective cost of funds along with a stream of recurring treasury management fee revenue.
Proven track history in deposit generation, treasury sales, preferably in bank deposit gathering environment.
Provides advice and counsel to prospects and customers regarding deposits and related matters, always representing the Bank’s best interests.
Consistently operates in compliance with banking laws and regulations, established Bank policies and procedures, audit, and enterprise risk management policies.
Maintains a strong working knowledge of the Bank's products and services especially regarding deposit and cash management products and services.
Qualifications
15+ years of senior level knowledge and experience in commercial bank operations, deposit products, complex treasury products / current technology trends, sales.
Proven ability to develop and cultivate customer relationships.
Excellent interpersonal, team building and communication skills.
Understanding of regulations governing financial products/services.
Experience within the legal, treasury operations, or specialty deposit markets strongly preferred.
Four-year college degree strongly preferred
Compensation
The base pay range for this position is USD $70,000.00/Yr. - USD $220,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
