Job Summary/Company: Our client is a rapidly growing non-profit organization in need of an experienced and certified Project Manager to lead strategic HR initiatives and drive process optimization. As a remote-first company with occasional in-person meetings, we offer flexibility and a collaborative work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, change management, and HR project leadership.
Candidate must be local and able to commute to the District of Columbia Office.
Responsibilities:
Manage complex projects from inception to delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives.
Act as a liaison between project teams, cross-functional departments, external vendors, and stakeholders to facilitate communication and ensure project success.
Drive business process modeling, improvement, and metrics analysis to optimize project performance and outcomes.
Track and monitor project progress, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
Develop guidelines, targets, and standards to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
Lead multiple, complex HR projects using Six Sigma and/or project management principles.
Redesign orientation and onboarding programs to establish structured processes and improve the new employee experience.
Collaborate with HR and other departments to develop and implement talent acquisition strategies, including SOPs and hiring manager training.
Establish metrics and KPIs to measure communication effectiveness, progress, and organizational impact.
Facilitate change management efforts to overcome resistance and drive adoption of new processes and systems.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
Minimum 5 years of experience leading complex projects, preferably in HR or related fields.
Certified in Six Sigma and/or PMP required
Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
Experience with change management and managing resistance to organizational change.
Familiarity with HR information systems (e.g., ADP Workforce Now) is a plus.
Comfortable working remotely with occasional in-person meetings in Washington D.C.
