PURPOSE: Serve as a primary IT liaison to the Global Product Development teams to ensure business and IT alignment. Responsible for providing strategic guidance and advice to our product development teams on how to leverage enterprise technology to support their development of innovative and secure products that meet the needs of our customers. The candidate will also be responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the IT industry to ensure our products are cutting-edge.
JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)
- Provide strategic guidance and advice to our product development team on how to leverage enterprise technology to develop innovative and secure products that meet the needs of our customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement IT solutions that support our product development efforts.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify emerging trends and technologies that can benefit our product development efforts.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the IT industry to ensure our products are cutting-edge.
- Develop and deliver presentations and reports to our product development team on IT-related topics.
- Provide technical expertise and support to our product development team on IT-related issues.
- Work closely with our product development team to ensure IT solutions are integrated seamlessly into our products.
- Develop and implement IT strategies that align with our product development goals and objectives.
- Collaborates with international IT Business Partner peers to perpetuate IT value drivers globally.
- Comfortable navigating IT and company organizational structure to work with leadership to clear project roadblock and ensure projects are successful.
- Advises business partners on IT administrative and security policies and procedures.
- Advises business in preparing capital appropriation requests for larger IT projects and obtaining management approval.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s 2025 Strategy.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT consulting to senior business leaders or related experieince.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and architecture.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the IT industry.
- Knowledge of Software Development process (SDLC) and CAD/PLM systems in a manufacturing company a plus.
