As a Crisis Management Business Continuity Analyst Senior, you will work closely with senior level business leaders to build business resilience and continuity plans, embed risk-averse disciplines, principles and mindset, and lead associates through any active crisis response. Assesses business service risks and implementsmitigation actions, plans,policies and procedures to advance and evolve resiliency and continuity. Acts as consultative partner, delivering continuity plans that prevent risks to associates at various office locations. Partners with cross-functional teams to advocate for the needs of our business.

Leverages subject matter expertise to build and evolve business resilience and continuity plans across business areas globally.
Leads resilience and continuity risk discussions with the business areas and senior leaders and partners to analyze business requirements, identify key risks and determine continuity and recovery procedures.
Responsible for the development, maintenance and testing of BC plans in compliance with CG policies and procedures.
Evaluates BC plans for appropriateness and effectiveness by identifying the impact of potential interruption of functions and addressing requirement gaps (utilizing tools such as business impact, gap analysis, and impact tolerance analysis)
Analyzes global business resilience and continuity strategic initiatives and determines appropriate incorporation of those initiatives into specific business area plans
Fosters a culture of resilience including training business on resilience and continuity principles, planning and response
Partners with business areas and support teams to ensure requirements to support business recovery efforts are implemented, documented and tested, including reviewing for interdependencies and developing alternative means of performing critical functions determine continuity and recovery procedures.
Directs BC and crisis response activity during events.
Leads and executes significant aspects of event response in accordance with regulations, BC plans and procedures.
Directs action with senior business leaders and consults with them in BC plan execution.
Proactively ensures associates’ safety is accounted for and appropriately tracked.
Leads complex, global BC projects, implementing program improvements.
Manages ongoing projects with wide reaching impact, including problem identification, conducting risk assessments, providing alternatives, making recommendations and communicating effectively with senior management on project status.
Coordinates with vendors, including highlighting and resolving issues.
Continually reviews and evolves the business resilience and crisis management framework in response to business and regulatory change.
Accountable for building enduring relationships with business partners through proactive ongoing relationship management and servicing of business.
Develops expertise in business resilience and continuity by engaging industry related activities/research and sharing learnings with the team.
Provide support in establishing, maintaining, and embedding enterprise level.
Operational Resilience Framework, policies, and programs across Capital.
Responds to regulatory and client inquiries and requests.
Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.
Skills and qualifications:
Strong understanding of resilience and continuity best practices.
Strong written and oral communication and facilitation skills including with larger groups and senior business leaders.
Strong planning, organization and project management skills.
Strong intellectual curiosity and analytical skills in areas of high complexity.
Ability to identify issues and recommend solutions on complex and broad matters.
Sound judgment in resolving matters of high complexity.
Strong organizational agility and collaboration skills.
Ability to prioritize assigned work and complete activities in a timely manner.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $92,423-$147,877

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
