LACOE is seeking a motivated individual to fill the role of GAIN Fiscal and Operations Coordinator for our Greater Avenues for Independence (GAIN) division. This position will be at the forefront of coordinating and overseeing the fiscal, business, and operational aspects of our workforce development and career advancement division.
Under administrative direction, this position plays a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and managing the fiscal and business operations of our programs. Responsibilities will include providing fiscal oversight, ensuring contract compliance, and implementing robust reporting procedures to support the success of our career development initiatives.
The Well Qualified Candidate Will Possess the Following

Required Education and ExperienceEducation: A bachelor’s degree in public, business administration, or other fields closely related to the job requirements of this classification from an institution of higher learning recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. Foreign degrees and credit units require translation and equivalency established by an agency recognized by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
Experience: Five years of experience managing and coordinating business and/or financial functions in a social services organization, educational organization, or workforce development program, including two years of experience in a supervisory or management capacity.
Additional Requirements: Positions in this class may be required to travel to various work sites throughout the Los Angeles County. A valid California driver’s license and availability of private transportation or ability to provide transportation between job sites is required.
