Nakupuna Solutions is looking for an Classified Document Contract Specialist to assist its government client with maintaining appropriate enforcement and implementation of its Information Security policy and procedure. They will communicate with managers to ensure proper release of information and prevent security violations related to the unauthorized dissemination of Classified and Control Unclassified Information (CUI). They work closely with the INFOSEC Officer in determining classification markings for various materials and providing input on Security Classification Guides.
Responsibilities

Responsible for, review of proposed publications, executing/enforcing and implementation of appropriate regulation, policy, and law related to INFOSEC.
Establishes and maintains liaisons with Program Managers (PO’s) and Administrative Assistants (AO’s), as it pertains to the Public Release Request Tool (PRRT).
Assist in the implementation of an effective information security education program, as it relates to ONR military, civilian, and contract employees.
Engage to prevent security violations, including suspected compromises or other threats to the safeguarding of classified, the unauthorized disclosure of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
Assist the INFOSEC officer on matters related to proper classification marking for classified and CUI information.
Assist in the mandatory review of classified, CUI and unclassified information compile for presentation and sharing.
Monitors the ONR Original Classification Authorities (OCA’s) annual training requirement that must be forwarded to the Department of the Navy on an annual basis.
Provides input supporting ONR directorates on publication of security classification guides (SCGs).
Coordinates with scientific, technical, and other subject matter experts to assess risk of loss, value of loss, and the classification level appropriate to information sensitivity.
Assist and advise senior leadership in matters pertaining to the enforcement of regulations governing the access to, and the dissemination, reproduction, transmission, transportation, safeguarding, and destruction of classified or CUI information and material.
Develops an effective liaison with the ONR contract office, site Contracting Officer Representatives (COR), to effectively assist in managing classified contracts and the Industrial Security Program officer.
Reviews DD 254’s and provides guidance to CORs and Program Managers in the preparation of the Contract Security Classification Specification requirements.
Perform Foreign Disclosure Representative (FDR) duties for ONR.
Responsible for coordinating with the ONR FDO prior to approval of Foreign Visits Request (FVR) Reviews and makes suggestions for the release of government information to foreign government representatives.
Perform initial and annual refresher foreign disclosure training.
Assist in responding to request for information (RFI) from foreign embassies by way of the Security Automation Policy Network (SPAN).

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Possess either a (1) Associate’s Degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience as a security specialist or (2) a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a security specialist.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
Possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Possess a working knowledge of (1) Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) or (2) other automated database system.
Possess a working knowledge of Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) and Real-time Automated Personnel Identification System (RAPIDS).
Clearance Requirements: Possess a SECRET Clearance at time of Contract Award. Must be a U.S. citizen.
Physical Requirements: In addition to the skills and qualifications mentioned above, candidates must, at a minimum, be able to meet the following physical requirements.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Ability to use stairs without assistance
Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers
Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations
Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer
Ability to stand, sit, walk, lift, carry, reach, kneel, crouch, bend and climb a step stool/ladder
