Controls Engineer - Manufacturing - Base Salary to 105k/year - Cleveland, OH

• Our client is an industry-leading manufacturing company. They are seeking a Controls Engineer (internally titled Electrical and Controls Engineer) to represent their company. This is a great work environment, and the plant is in excellent shape.

Responsibilities:

• Comply with safety procedures and review specifications and standard practices.
• Design and modify existing machine control solutions (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and robotic).
• PLC programming (mostly Allen Bradley). Working with Motion controllers and HMI’s.
• Work with internal hardwired devices, logic standards, and general specifications.
• Work with customers to support machinery and installation needs.
• Provide technical support.
• Travel of up to 20%.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years automation/controls engineering experience.
• Experienced with Allen Bradley PLC and HMI.
• Experienced with RS Logix and operator interface design and programming.
• Familiar with industrial automation machinery.
• Experience creating schematics and layouts using AutoCad.
• Experience with fanuc robots.

Compensation:

• Base salary up to 105k/year
