Position Summary:

The clinical nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement a plan of care for a patient population who are scheduled to undergo Anesthesia. This incorporates preoperative interpretation of data to determine patient readiness to undergo Anesthesia for multiple surgical sites affiliated with UCI. Effective communication with patients and APPs/Anesthesiologists and documentation to support patients throughout the perioperative/Anesthesia process. Acts as a role model and mentor to nurses new to the unit.

Salary Range:

Hourly Rate Minimum $59.93 Midpoint $71.10 Maximum $82.27

Required Qualifications:

All external candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English

Ability to maintain flexibility and work well in a constantly changing environment

Must have recent two years peri-anesthesia experience

At least one year recent experience in data analysis/interpretation for Anesthesia Optimization

Licenses and Certifications:

Basic Life Support(Required)

Registered Nurse(Required)

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science, Nursing

Understanding of applicable regulatory requirements

Bilingual skills to communicate effectively with patients and families
