This position is responsible for providing the direction of Patient Financial Services Operations for Acute Care Hospitals and facilitating daily operations of AR management, including coordination with hospital and organizational departments affecting billing processes. Responsible for direct oversight of operational duties such as billing, collections, cash posting and overall accounts receivable. This position is also responsible for managing and coordinating team efforts to achieve key performance indicators set by the client and organization.
The role will focus on identifying Revenue Cycle improvement opportunities, quantifying impact, recommending solutions, as well as leading and implementing initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement strategic plans for meeting metrics
- Fosters an environment that promotes teamwork and positive communications within the service area and department
- Works collaboratively and strategically with the Revenue Cycle team to develop and operationalize processes and procedures, with continuous process improvement activities
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders. Influence/negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to drive strategy execution
- Manage client satisfaction levels and remediation of client dissatisfaction to drive increased NPS (Net Promoter System and Net Promoter Score) results
- Leading Internal and Client facing performance calls
- Positions in this function include those responsible for management and administration of multiple functions, or management of general business operations
- Accountable for financial and non-financial results (budgets and actuals)
- Project management oversight and implementation
- Provide leadership to and is accountable for the performance of managers and/or senior level professional staff
- Impact of work is most often at the operational or local business unit or market level

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Patient Financial Services experience
- 3+ years of Revenue Cycle experience in a Leadership or Director role
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Patient Financial Services experience in billing or collections
- Proficient Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables and advanced formulas
- Proficient in data analytics
