Job Summary:
This job opportunity is for the SIPRNET Windows Administrator position at Raytheon El Segundo. The SIPRNET Windows Administrator is responsible for the administering the local DoD classified Windows systems, including workstations and server, routers, firewalls, switches and other Windows devices in accordance with the authoritative USG requirements documents including (but not limited to): DISA STIGS, DD254, SCGs, CND Directives, OPORDS, etc. The selected candidate will be responsible for day to day operation and sustainment of the network workstations and servers to include (but not limited to):
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Experience with Trellix EPO products suite, Tenable Security Center and with DLP application whitelisting and configuration
Administer all Windows and network infrastructure devices (workstations, servers, switches, firewall, IDS/IPS)
Complete STIG checklists for all Windows infrastructure devices: workstations, O/S’, applications, hypervisor, Boundary (Premise router, Firewall, Windows Infrastructure), Internal Windows (Layer 2 Switches) and additional required STIGS (IDS/IPS, Windows Devices, Multifunction/Windows Printer, etc.)
Provide infrastructure engineering expertise for configuration changes (e.g. management subnet, etc.), patch all infrastructure devices, review scan results from ACAS scans that pertain to infrastructure devices, remediate CAT I/ CAT II/ CAT III findings associated with scans of infrastructure devices
Coordinate with ISSO/ISSM to update POA&M and reflect open vulnerabilities associated with infrastructure devices, develop remediation plans to include milestone completion dates and status updates, and include mitigation process for closed vulnerabilities
Bring configuration changes before the CCB for approval, maintain up-to-date configuration diagrams for the architecture (physical and logical), and notify ISSM of changes to network diagram
Obtain any DoD 8570.01 IAT Level 2 required Computing Environment certifications within 6 months of employment.
Basic Qualifications
4+ years relevant and recent experience with configuration, administration and operation of Wide-Area and Local Area Windowss (WAN/LAN), to include Cisco-based routers, switches, and firewalls
Experience with classified Windows device assessment and hardening using various information system security and working knowledge of operating systems security features and settings (e.g. Windows, UNIX, and Linux)assessment/hardening tools – DISA STIGs, SCAP, ACAS, HBSS, Retina, Nessus, etc.
Experience successfully and effectively interacting with internal and external customers (DSS, ISSPs, ISRs, DAOs, Program Managers, etc.)
Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written modes, and be able to author and present subject specific presentations. Comfortable with public speaking.
Must be willing and able to travel to other locations as required on occasion
DoD 8570.01 IAT Level 2 (requires one or more of the following Professional Certifications: CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP)
Typically, requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Computing Environment certifications for CISCO devices
In-depth knowledge of NIST special publications and other requirements documents associated with the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Experience with Assessment & Authorization (A&A) under the RMF
Experience with preparing for SIPRNet CCRI inspections
DoD 8570.01 IAT Level 3 (requires one or more of the following Professional Certifications: CASP CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH)
Windows monitoring & logging tools such as Splunk, Ivanti and ACAS

The salary range for this role is 85,000 USD - 179,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
