Collins Aerospace is looking for a Subcontract Program Manager for our Sterling, VA location. This is an onsite position and may be eligible for relocation.

What does the role look like:
This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to work as part of the Subcontracts Team supporting the Collins Aerospace Simulation Training and Solutions business. The successful candidate will support the Subcontract Program Managers ensuring Case File Documentation is compliant as well as managing various procurement activities.
What YOU will do:
- Create and maintain Subcontract Case Files.
- Support the SPM’s Case File submission to Internal Compliance.
- Coordinate information flow from internal groups such as Procurement, Finance, and Contracts.
- Various Procurement activities such as placing orders, negotiating pricing and lead time.
- You will be responsible for managing Suppliers to ensure on time delivery.
What YOU will learn:
- You will learn the Subcontract and Procurement processes and gain additional responsibility as your career progresses.
- You will learn about the Flight Simulators and Trainers that are built by the Simulation, Training and Solutions. You will also learn about the subsystems of these trainers and how they all work together.
Basic Qualifications:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
- Ability to view ITAR & FOUO Technical Data
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required
- Ability to lead cross functional teams (program manager, technical project manager, engineering, quality, business development, contract management, finance & operations)
- Ability to be flexible & effective with remote work, hybrid/remote work, & travel as necessary
Qualifications you must have:
- Previous Subcontract or Procurement experience preferred
- Previous aerospace industry experience a plus
- Previous government subcontracting experience is desirable
- Experience with SAP
- Experience with Ariba

The salary range for this role is 85,000 USD - 179,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
